The Modern Bar
Located adjacent to The Museum of Modern Art, the lively Bar Room offers Chef Abram Bissell's vividly seasonal contemporary, à la carte cooking, along with an award-winning wine program and carefully curated cocktails, beer, and spirits. Our menu pricing is inclusive of all costs associated with food, beverage and hospitality. Tips are neither required nor expected. Guests have the option of sitting in The Bar Room, the adjacent lounge, or at the vibrant 24-seat marble bar. Walk-ins are accepted in all three areas, and The Bar Room welcomes reservations up to 28 days in advance. The restaurant also includes the Dining Room at The Modern which features four and eight course menu options overlooking MoMA's Sculpture Garden, as well as the exclusive Kitchen Table, which offers a custom tasting menu for up to four guests in the heart of the restaurant's world-class kitchen.
