The Ludlow

With its factory-style casement windows, red-brick façade and intentionally gritty sheen, you’d think The Ludlow hotel had been a Lower East Side regular for years. Rather, it’s Sean MacPherson’s styling – a distressed-limestone fireplace in the lounge, custom turned-wood bedframes in the rooms – that make it feel right at home in one of New York’s historically hippest ‘hoods.
